Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of Home Depot, assisting customers with their home improvement needs and providing expert advice on our wide range of products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services to best assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and clean.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle returns and exchanges.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
- Assist in merchandising and setting up promotional displays.
- Stay updated on current promotions, sales, and product features.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
