Job Overview

Meyer Corporation, US seeks a seasoned and results-driven National Account Manager to spearhead strategic sales plans for our Walmart & Sam’s Club business. In this role, you will drive profitable sales growth, nurture key account relationships, and implement strategic initiatives to grow Meyer brand share and revenue.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for omni retail programs for Walmart & Sam’s Club. Analyze market trends, consumer purchase behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align retail strategies with overall business objectives.

Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Walmart & Sam’s Club merchant and Planning teams. Collaborate with decision-makers to develop omni programs to meet specific business goals. Act as the main point of contact for Walmart & Sam’s Club, ensuring exceptional customer service. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer preferences. Negotiate and manage customer programs, pricing, and promotions for profitable growth.

Sales Planning: Set and achieve sales and profitability plans to grow Meyer’s presence in Walmart & Sam’s Club. Manage collaborative line review processes for inline and seasonal retail programs. Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and implement corrective actions as needed. Track and report regularly on sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.

Collaboration and Communication: Provide internal teams with Walmart & Sam’s Club business overviews, best practices, and key account strategies. Collaborate with marketing, product development, planning and finance for seamless execution of omni programs. Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on program performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, preferably within the Mass or Club sector with demonstrated Omni management experience.
  • Housewares industry experience is required; cookware and bakeware category experience is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen, financial analysis, margin analysis, and pricing experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends for informed decision-making.
